NATUZZI ITALIA PRESENTS A UNIQUE JAMIE DURIE COLLECTION – HARMONY MEETS LIVING DESIGN
SATURDAY 31st MARCH, 2018 from 11am
Join us in-store with Jamie Durie for an exclusive event and a chance to win one of five signed Living Design books.
Natuzzi, Italy’s largest furniture house, proudly teams up with Jamie Durie, international award-winning designer and author, in creating Amber, his debut collection for Natuzzi Italia.
With mutual core values hinged in quality, an emphasis on design aesthetics, the heritage of Italian craftsmanship, innovation, eco-sustainability and reliability, Natuzzi’s collaboration with Jamie comes naturally.
Jamie will take you through his design philosophy, which is founded in a sophisticated blend of the natural form and clean-line geometry, and affectionately coined RAW LUXURY, perfectly reflected in the Natuzzi Italia Amber collection, made in Italy.
With connectedness to nature at the forefront of his and Natuzzi’s ethos, Jamie’s TRANSTERIOR™ approach takes the outdoors in, and the indoors out, in a carefully considered design environment, where the furniture draws inspiration from nature.
The unique Amber sideboard is characterised by its undulating, three dimensional surface, inspired by the hills and gullies inherent in the Apulian landscape. The effect is achieved through a technically advanced CNC machining technology. The natural wood grain is juxtaposed against a series of intersecting scalloped surfaces striking a delicate balance between natural beauty and industrial craftsmanship. Elegant aluminum feet ensure a slender gracefulness to each piece in the collection.
Inspired by nature and driven by the pursuit of home harmony, Natuzzi Italia, the Harmony Maker, promises to bring the Italian lifestyle, harmony and beauty into homes around the world through the expert fusion of design, function, materials and colours.
Jamie Durie is the first Australian designer to ever partner with the Natuzzi group.
We look forward to seeing you at this special event. Click here to RSVP by Monday, 26th March 2018.
