freedom Relaunches Interior Decorator Service

Over consecutive Saturdays in August freedom continued the exciting relaunch of their interior decorator service with the second “Style Made Easy” masterclass.
Aspiring interior stylists and home decorating enthusiasts gathered in-store to watch freedom Interior Decorator Elise Cooper share her tips and tricks on how to transform bare rooms into cosy and stylish spaces following key trends and decorating ideas.
Along with coffee and pastries, there were live demonstrations as the freedom Interior Decorators, including Moore Park Interior Decorator Tara Veness, styled a living room and bedroom space using current furniture and homewares by freedom.
Let’s recap!

Look 1: Coastal Boho
A free-spirited twist on the ever popular coastal trend, the living room was styled using pieces, including the luxuriously comfy Alton sofa, the Palm Springs accent chair (tip: make sure your accent chair looks good from all angles!), along with decorative touches to tie the look together like the Anisah wall art and Rushi rug for natural texture.

The Coastal Boho theme was also used to decorate a tween’s bedroom in sorbet tones featuring the plush Xavier bed and the Velvet Franny armchair along with stylish homewares from the blush Kenora rug, Vero white table lamp and Polka dot throw to complete the look.

Look 2: Luxe Retro
The second live demonstration was all about transforming a modern living room and bedroom into a sophisticated Luxe Retro look. Think bold colours (tip: use no more than three colours throughout your space!), metallic finishes in brass, contrasting patterns and textures in cushions, rugs and throws are also important to achieving this statement trend.

Guests were also shown how to create vignettes using some of freedom’s art deco homewares like the gold-coloured Alessia vase, Gandia vessel in Chai and Mallowa vase in black for an eye-catching desk display.

The Style Made Easy Masterclass provided customers plenty of inspiration on the day with all proceeds from the event donated to freedom’s main charity, Children’s Cancer Institute.
Whether you need help to decorate a room or your entire house, the freedom interior decorator service is just $150 for an in-home consultation, which is redeemable on purchases over $3000. Please contact the team to book an appointment on (02) 9313 8211
